History Established in 1986. Dr. Louis Budik established Transit Valley Animal Hospital in 1986. Originally, treating both large and small breed animals, Transit Valley began to grow and become part of the local community. Whether it was caring for a sick dog or traveling out into the community to help treat a horse, Dr. Budik was always helping an animal in need. Transit Valley Animal Hospital has been our vet since we moved to Clarence Ctr more than 16 years ago. We have always received good service and care for our dogs and cats. One dog has required surgery for bladder stones and that went well. I recommend this vet.
I have been coming here for about 12 years now. They have seen all my furbabies from rats to dogs and always with kindness and compassion. They have a client for life with my family.

Dr. Lou is "good people". Caring, considerate and always available. I have been bringing our pets here for over 10 yrs. Have seen Dr. Lou in ditches tending to injured deer, making house calls for sick pets and using the utmost care when diagnosing our dog's behavioral issues. He opted to do research before putting our dog on medication. He was genuinely concerned when our cat went missing, and happy for us when he was found. His staff is friendly and helpful. I highly recommend his services.
I drive 30 minutes just to have my pets treated here. Dr. Budik and his staff are fantastic. They take their time and they care. They also will not do anything that isn't necessary just to make a few extra $$. Thank you for being wonderful.
I have taken my pets to Transit Valley now for almost 9 years and I love the staff, so friendly and considerate and patient. Dr Budik has always been straight forward and kind when it comes to the health of my animals. I have always received great care! I have to put down two of my elderly cats and he sat there with me and knew it was very hard for me to let them go, but he took the time with me, that what is important, and I know he will be there for me again when it comes time, BUT hopefully NOT too soon...
When one takes their pet to the vet's office....one would certainly expect their pet to be examined in FRONT of the vet and his or he present health discussed there. My cat was was examined behind closed door...yes...not in my presence...why was that? I am a "former" advocate of Transit Valley Animal Hospital after taking my precious cat for over 20 years...yes 20 years......not any more!!!!!!!!
After taking my cats for over 40 years to Transit Animal Hospital, my last visit was a week ago. When I was waiting for the vet to come in and exam my feline (in front of me) she was taken away by the vet tech (who I overheard remark) this is a mean cat. I have had my cat for 14 years and she does not have a mean bone in her body...why would people who are suppose to care for our pets make such a remark?
