Originally, treating both large and small breed animals, Transit Valley began to grow and become part of the local community. Good service, good vet Transit Valley Animal Hospital has been our vet since we moved to Clarence Ctr more than 16 years ago. We have always received good service and care for our dogs and cats. One dog has required surgery for bladder stones and that went well. I recommend this vet.
ALWAYS MY VET I have seen Dr Budik from both sides; as a co worker (decades ago) and more recently as a client. Five years ago my 8 year old dog tore her cranial cruciate ligament (ACL) chasing a fox. We live in Philly and it was February. Great value This is a very good vet who really cares about the animals brought in and goes the extra mile to insure the health of your animals. Some places charge you an arm and a leg, but the prices were very fair compared to experiences Ive had in the past. Of course the healthy of my animal is my primary concern but these reasonable prices are nice.
A loving Vet Always For All Dr. Budik is the most caring vet I've ever met. Not only cares the most for your pet, but also the Client. I went to him on a referral from my neighbor and had my 20 year old kitty who was terribly sick had to be put down. When I left I felt like I almost had to console him cause he was so concerned for me! I was so sorry to lose my old kitty baby,... Awful visit Being new to the area, I had high hopes for my dogs office visit after reading the reviews for this animal hospital. I scheduled an appointment for my Huskey and brought with me a large file of paperwork, which contained all my dogs records since birth. I checked in at the front and gave the nurse my dogs file. I was then taken to an exam room with my dog. The doctor then came in and asked me which vaccine my dog needed. I explained that my records were with the nurse, and he should check with her. excellent vet, not the greatest location for me I was referred to Dr. Budik when my (now ex-) wife and I got a dog from the SPCA. He took care of our dog's spaying, and gave her a general checkup. Our initial impression was that of a consummate professional, who cares as much about his patients as their owners (or staff, if you're a cat person :-) ) do. This impression never changed. Dr Budik is a hack. After charging us $1,100.00 for four X-rays two weeks ago. Our dog had eaten corn cobs out of the garbage. He performed 4 X-rays and did a barium treatment. “ I can’t hang my hat on wether or not he’s has a corn cob in him”. Well today two Weeks later and over $8,000.00 dollars later the emergency vet informed us our dog had a large corn cob completely obstructing his small Intestine.
