I want to preface this by saying I am a naturally awkward and quiet person! As soon as i walked into Maurice's shop I felt so comfortable, and within minutes I could not stop talking! He is very attentive and listens to you very well, he is so sweet and I love everything he advocates for! There's no judgement from him at all and it is truly a safe space for everyone. Not to mention he made my hair look so much better! I wish I could give 10 stars!! Thank you so much for making my hair more beautiful!

I am a 71 year old black female who just moved back to Des Moines to bury my only child, my son. He always wanted me to change my black hair color to some shade of red. So I googled hair dressers and came across Transformations. It was close to where I lived, so I visited the shop yesterday(July 5th).
