I have returned a failed TCE transfer case unit,(23 months old), to TCE after Vernon promised to send the warranty replacement as soon as the UPS driver scanned it in and picked it up. This seemed strange to me as Vernon would now have to send me an empty shipping tote, then I drop the failed unit in it and get UPS to pick it up. Problem today is Vernon will not return calls and Kate in Customer service is misleading and says here is tracking # part is enroute.! The two bad reviews are from the same customer who admitted that they purchased the wrong unit installed it and had a noise and kept on running it till it failed.Was offered a new unit for 75.00 and they refused.The warranty says units must have fluid in them.When unit was returned there was only metal dust.Transfercase Express has sold over 40 thousand reman Transfercases over 20 years and they stand behind there product but some customers no matter what you do are not happy.We thank our loyal customers
Do not buy from this company. They have horrible customer service. They will not honor their warranty and they will lie to get out of it. We received a defective transfer case and it started having problems less than a month after installation. We followed the warranty protocol exactly, but they still refuse to honor the warranty. We have lost $1545 and our core to them and have nothing to show for it. Save yourself the trouble and buy from somewhere else.
This company is the worst I've ever dealt with, they will not honor their warranty. I bought a transfer case from them and it lasted for about a month. They had me send it back so they could open it up for inspection and called me a liar saying I never put the fluid in it. With the miles I drive on a daily it wouldn't have lasted half a day with no fluid.
