I can honestly say that these have changed my life. As a late-adult Deaf person, I rely on tech like this and my hearing aids to be able to communicate in any way at all. For the last several years I've been using a different captioning app that displays the text on my phone screen, so it's a profound game changer to be able to look people in the eyes again while chatting. I also love that in a crowded room, I can place my phone's mic next to the person I'm talking with, and see just their words and no one else's. Often when... read more

I got cancer a couple of years ago, and had seven weeks of radiation therapy aimed at the right side of my neck. My doctors warned me that this might negatively impact the hearing in my right ear. Despite my enthusiasm for the product, I have found the support team to be deficient. They make an effort, but often send boilerplate responses that don't address a specific issue. On one occasion they escalated my issue to... read more

These AirCaps glasses have genuinely improved my life—100%! I have moderate hearing loss and used to miss so much of what people were saying. Like many others, I do have hearing aids, but they often make things louder rather than clearer. I’m constantly taking my AirCaps off to show people how cool they are. The app is easy to use and lets you customize words and names, and it can even translate languages. It’s also great that the glasses transcribe conversations right to my phone. When I’m wearing them during a work meeting... read more
