Today I shipped a large wooden pallet to England thorough Transco Cargo at Campbellfield Victoria Australia. Many other shippers were charging me an arm and a leg! But Transco gave me 1/3 the quotes I received from others. Apart from the very affordable rate for a large wooden pallet I also received first class service at Transco, specially by the manager, Thilina of this warehouse. He was friendly and most helpful. I had a very disappointing experience with this company. When I went to clear my packages, the administration staff were extremely unprofessional and lacked basic customer service skills. They spoke rudely and showed no courtesy, even to elderly customers who were patiently waiting to collect packages sent by their children overseas. We sent a shipment of boxes to Sri Lanka from Brisbane. The clearing from Colombo was painful and utterly disappointing. They made us wait hours after giving us a 9 a.m. appointment. It was nearly 4 p.m. when the boxes with personal items were cleared. The staff were very unhelpful and took extraordinary time to prepare the documents. We will never use this company again—the First and the last time. I would have given less than 1 star if possible.
I had a terrible experience with Transco Cargo. I entrusted them with my package, expecting safe and secure delivery, but what I received was a damaged box with missing items. This level of carelessness is completely unacceptable for a courier service that people rely on to handle their belongings responsibly.
