I am writing to document my experience with Trans Tech Auto & Truck, and to strongly warn others against using this shop. In February 2025, I brought my car in for a transmission issue. I was told the torque converter had failed and would need replacement. I was quoted approximately $3,000. Instead of a straightforward repair, they kept my vehicle for over two months with little to no communication. They "rebuilt" my transmission twice within weeks time. Second time was due to "one in a million" repair shop issue. I have heard that the "one in a million" issue happens frequently. After 1,200 miles, I had to have the vehicle towed to another repair shop to replace the transmission. Jim refuses to provide any refund of funds paid for ineffective work. Stay away from this place. They do shoddy work and have terrible customer service.
