Got a supposedly rebuild transmission last week from these guys for my boyfriend lost second gear right after putting the transmission in had another shop look at it and they said that the bands were never changed. Took pictures of what was supposed to be rebuilt but multiple parts in transmission has rust and even the front band isn’t working right. Has all other gears but second gear.
Had a relative get work done here recently. Faulty rebuild and they said bring it in for warranty we will fix it. After the repair they charged $1k for labor and wouldn't release the truck until it was paid up. Scam shop and extremely rude argumentative owner making physical threats over the phone
We replaced our transmission. It’s all working excellent for now
Been almost 2 years since my rebuild, seems to be going well. Its a 46RE from a 94 jeep and they are a very fragile transmission to begin with, but its still shifting nice and solid. Great pricing, they beat out everyone else I got a quote from, and I got a new torque converter and out the door for 1300 bucks!! Followed their recommendation to swap to an external cooler and its been great. One concern when I dropped the pan to swap to a deep sump that it had more shavings than I expected. After the initial visit I had to bring it back 4 more time. Be aware they do not do paper work on warranty so there isn't a paper trail. After that I took it to ford and got it fixed. Judge awarded me court costs and the bill from Ford. Adding on. Has been over 19 months since ordered restitution and they won't answer emails. Also have not paid their court ordered restitution. Assuming I will have to contact a collections agency. It makes me question any shop supporting them. Check their BBB rating.
