This place is Heaven on earth. They go above and beyond the call of duty for my mother. She was there and taken care of with exceptional professionalism. Mom came home for her last days and the nurses come by on their own time and visit and make my mother feel special and I'm in love with this place and every medical tech or nurse that has been a part of taking care of my mother. I am writing on behalf of the family. Upon discharge from Northside Hospital, (Prognosis - less than 6 months - brain tumor related) my 34-year-old niece was treated with a Hospice home health provider. She experienced a sudden severe decline, and the paramedics were called and she was transferred to Wellstar Kennesaw Hospital. I am a RN who has worked as a hospice nurse. This wonderful facility is top notch in every possible way imaginable. They cared for my husband in the last 3 days of his life like he was a member of their own family. Every staff person I encountered was exceptionally competent, grounded, focused, peaceful, calming and compassionate. Day nurse John and night nurse Marie and all of the CNA's involved in my husband's care are truly angels in uniform. Check completely before putting your love one here. Not clean. No compassion. Patients left in rooms alone for hours not checked. You are responsible for feeding your family member, some nurses here are good. but others are rude, underlying discrimination,falsely fill out forms and are back by the director. Not nice people they just pretend to be. Warning..
