In 2016, I invested in two full Trane HVAC systems, trusting I was buying quality and reliability from a premium brand. That trust was misplaced. Just 18 days after the warranty expired, a major component failed. I contacted Trane expecting some reasonable goodwill support, especially given how narrowly the failure missed the warranty period. My home has been resetting itself to from being set at 75 down to 60 in the middle of the night sporadically for over 5 months sometimes happening multiple times a week. This cost me money and sleep and leaves me unable to enjoy my home. The response from Trane has been abysmal. They have admitted it’s a technical fault from their end but still have not prioritized fixing the issue and do not have an estimated time to resolve! Trane is no longer worth buying.
