Had high hopes for this restaurant. Food was ok. Eggplant parmesan was bland. Shortrib ravioli was good. Our server disappeared after we got our food. She was mixing drinks for another table. Took 20 minutes to get check after we were done eating and only after i asked another server.
The lasagna and tortellinis are INCREDIBLE. Chef’s kiss 🤌 portions are great too. We will be coming back on our next trip up from San Diego! Thank you 🙏
We had a large party spread across a few tables on a cool night in Santa Cruz. I was really impressed by the kind service, speed and quality of food. We had a lot of different dietary restrictions in the group, including one person with celiac and several vegans. Well apparently the owner's partner has celiac so this Italian restaurant has an exceptional number of accomodations including gluten free pastas and pizza :)) I had a salad, amazing pesto penne dish and a lemon sorbet.
