SUBSTANDARD MEMORY CARE. Despite an attractive building and grounds, Traditions at Brookside did not deliver the quality of care they promised in Memory Care. From the management on down to the caregivers, too many of them did not treat family members with respect. They responded to family concerns with excuses. DOESN'T DELIVER THE CARE THEY PROMISE: Attractive physical facilities for Assisted Living, but Memory Care is cramped and doesn't have the amenities afforded Assisted Living residents. Management is unresponsive to concerns; much of the staff is poorly trained and supervision is sloppy. Falls have not been reported to families and on at least one occasion, not reported to the Board of Health. Medical care, food and communication are all unsatisfactory.
