The owner of TradeWinds' first experience with consignment shopping was working at a small consignment shop in San Francisco following high school. It was the beginning of a life-long passion for resale and recycling. Hope became adept at recognizing quality fabrics, designs and workmanship, and became addicted to the thrill of the hunt. I love TradeWinds! Not only do they graciously partner with me for my fashion classes, but I shop there frequently. It never fails that when I'm wearing a piece from TradeWinds, someone wants to know where I got it. Keep up the great work Hope!
I commute all the way from Monterey to both buy and consign. Great place!
Always an interesting experience, a treasure hunt with so many treasures to choose from. I appreciate the fact that everything is not outdated and is also clean and damage-free. Often, the staff has coordinated outfits so well I will purchase items I never thought of putting together.
