roaches. Before my fist week of living here I saw a roach. Thought maybe it just tagged along on my belongings since they were in a storage unit for a month. But they kept coming. At least once a week. Requested pest control in the beginning but it never helped. So I just dealt with it till I was able to vacate my lease. 2 black and white dogs barking on the south side of the building on the top floor are a menace to the entire neighborhood. Owner leaves them out on the balcony at all hours of the day in all conditions without food or water bowls. Management will not do anything. Dogs bark at all hours of the day. If you want peace and quiet, this apartment complex is not for you. Disgraceful to have such a disturbing property on one of the busiest streets in town.
Truthfully I don't know why the apartment has such negative reviews. We have lived at Tradewinds for two years and have loved our time there. Are there water shut offs? Yes but they are communicated and fixed relatively quickly. The manager has always been kind to us when we go to them with questions or concerns. The true issue are your neighbors- the complex has a clear no smoking guideline that you sign with your lease and the cigarette butts found in my yard from upstairs neighbors or the weed smell permeating through the... read more
I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. I've been living here since 2018 and every since this new property manager came and took over, it has been nothing but a nightmare. She definitely works against you and not with you. She's nothing like the previous managers I've dealt with. She breaths off of making everyone's life a living hell. It was okay they never respond when you call the office or leave messages. The water gets shut off like every week for hours on and during the morning, so it's hard to get ready if you have no running water. The amenities are decent the pools, grills, and the fire pit nice. There are several people who just smoke on the balcony or in the common areas, which is bad for those of us that have asthma. One even smokes from her window inside her home right next to the grill.
