Dr Tracey Childs performed left inguinal hernia on me and this was the follow up visit 3 weeks after surgery. Tracey removed the bandages and answered all my questions/concerns. A friendly and caring professional.

Dr Child's was seen as a consultant for a surgical need. The appointment was expedited timely with an immediate diagnosis and treatment plan. Surgery followed within 2-3 weeks as it was non-emergent. Recovery was outstanding, no complications, no pain and no further symptoms
Dr. Child was professional caring and explained my postop information. I highly recommend her. She and her staff did an excellent job I felt very cared for.

Dr Childs was 40 minutes late to our appointment. She pushed life altering diet changes without fully understanding the history of the issues and made inappropriate jokes following the colonoscopy. She was rude, the appointment felt rushed, and Dr. Childs did not discuss the medications she was prescribing or when to see her if the problem persisted. The physician's assistant had to clarify much of the interaction and was more helpful.
My experience with Dr Childs was very god but I cannot recommend her. Her office is poorly run and dysfunctional and the staff rude and unhelpful. -They sent me to the wrong location for a blood test and failed to submit the order. -Day of my consult they scheduled Dr. Childs to have 15 minute appointments so that by the time I arrived (30 min early) she was so backed up I had to wait an HOUR - Post-surgery they mixed up my meds and gave me incorrect instructions. Dr. Childs deserves better.
