I was a tenant for 25 years. Can say the landlord tried to accommodate if it made them money. If it did not, they do not. For example- the largest tenant brought in dogs which stained their carpet and they were excused but when I soiled their carpet on a past reno, the Building Manager sternly warned me in a patronizing tone. Been working in one of their buildings for two years and it’s pretty blatant that they don’t care about their heating issues. Currently -13 degrees outside and they are still blowing cold air through the vents. Our thermostats are all the way up but make no difference when the outside cold air is being forced through to our office. Refuses to actually fix the problem and gives us the same explanation that our thermostats are turned down but as I explained above they are always up!
