Hey all! It is my pleasure to recommend Alex at the Toyota Performance Center in New Milford, CT! I called Alex when my 2013 Toyota Avalon began hesitating and jerking. After being told by a previous mechanic that I needed to replace the entire transmission for $4500, I called Alex and he agreed to check out my car. The best in town.
I have been taking my truck to Alex for about 2-3 years now and I am grateful to have found him. He only does what is needed and never tries to upsell. His prices are always very fair and very reasonable. As an ex-mechanic, it’s tough to find someone to trust to work on your vehicle but I feel comfortable dropping it off with Alex. Honestly guy trying to make an honest living, keep up the good work.
Alex did an excellent job on both of my Prius's for a great price. He replaced a stolen catalytic and an ECU in one. The insurance company wanted to total the car because the estimates elsewhere were so so high. Not so with Alex. He diagnosed it and repaired it well under other estimates. He also saved my second Prius which had been disabled by a rodent chewing through the wires. Nobody else in the area would touch that job. This is a man who knows what he's doing. Why waste your time going elsewhere?
