Husbands, don't let your wives go here unaccompanied. Mine has been upsold "preventative" services multiple times over the years. To avoid this, I actually prepaid for several years of oil changes when we bought her 2023 RAV4 (in Corpus, these fools wanted thousands over MSRP). Well, I let down my guard and didn't remind her to call me if they asked for money, and they sold her a $250 fuel injector cleaning she didn't need and a $250 brake fluid replacement without even inspecting the fluid first.
