Very helpful
The sales team is great at Toyota of Jackson but that cannot be said for the service department. I called about ordering my key fob for my Toyota Grand Highlander after receiving a notice that I could get my second key since when we bought it there was only one key fob which we weren’t told until after we bought the car and we were walking out into the parking lot to drive away. I took my car in to fix a well known issue with a TSB in hand. This problem needs to be reproduced on a cold start. Like, sitting for 3-plus hours. Probably 5 for good measure. Well, they called me an hour and a half later with a list of things to be replaced half of which are brand new. None of which would address the issue, and clearly didn't listen to a word I said. First I made an appointment online, and when I arrived I found a sign on the door that only the service center was closed for the day (Memorial day). I had no notice or indication from their website that they would be closed. (I even had a text confirmation for my appointment.) I rescheduled and came back in for a basic oil change/10k maintenance. I also got an alignment, but it took nearly 3 hours with an early appointment. The staff wasn't directly rude, but they weren't very helpful or friendly either.
I came in for a routine service and checkup on a 2011 Toyota Corolla that had just over 25k miles on it. This vehicle was supposed to be ready the very next day and it was - almost. When I drove it off there was a scraping and thumping sound so I had to loop back to their location and give them the car again on a Friday, which they had for the weekend.
