Must stay ! Great staff.. clean and Safe, close to Ford museum , easy ride in to Comerica park. Eat at Buddy,s Pizza.. The McDonald from New jersey !
Maybe the worst Marriott stay I ever had. Outdated rooms with small tvs with no streaming, and no dresser drawers. The breakfast was terrible - one choice - no waffles, only apples for fruit, and no quality yogurts - all in a very tiny space. The pool was still not open in mid June! Housekeeping was the worst I ever dealt with. Refused to come back later when asked and only made the bed the one time they actually came to the room. In town for family event. I am a Marriott Bonvoy member and chose this hotel because of location and wanting a suite. Very friendly staff at check in, checkout and throughout my 3-night stay. Decent hot breakfast and parking. The only other comment is that the outdoor pool was closed (over 90 degrees in mid-June) the fitness center was closed as well as the bathroom on the ground floor reception area. Arrived at 12:45am on 6/11 for a 6/10-6/11 one night reservation for a work trip after my flight was delayed 90 minutes. When I arrived, I was told that “everyone had already checked in” and they had no more clean rooms. Impossible because I had a reservation (which they confirmed) and I had in fact not checked in yet… so they oversold my room and assumed I wasn’t coming.
