I have had only great stays here. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are very nice with a kitchen. I have had only one-night stays at the TownPlace Suites, but they are setup for extended stays as well. It is easily accessible from South Padre Island Highway. I plan to stay at this facility whenever I return to this part of Corpus Christi.

Traveling is hard on a person especially finding a place to stay. I decided to book here knowing that the Marriott brand will have my needs met. I've been a Marriott member for years and love The Residence inns because they have kitchenettes. I had Meganne at the front desk check us in. She was fantastic with assisting me with my fur baby and setting up our room. Knowing how tired and feeling stressed we were she was there for us. Roaches. Leaking ac unit leaving the entire floor below it (2ftx4ft wet). No mattress protectors. To add: My four year old son has cancer and we stay here long term because he is treated at Driscoll and they refuse to give us a double bed because we aren’t a large group. Four of us, two adults, an 8 year old and my four year old almost five year old boy are on one bed (full maybe queen max).
