After using this pharmacy for approximately three years, I’m extremely disappointed by the way I was recently treated regarding my prescriptions and insurance. I was told that the pharmacy can no longer afford to “take a loss” on medications through my insurance. What was especially concerning was being told, essentially, that if they don’t make money from the prescription, they don’t want to fill it. Worst pharmacy I ever been to they are very rude And unprofessional
I honestly don’t even know where to start with my experience at Towne Pharmacy in Broussard today. I went to urgent care and was prescribed prednisone and promethazine DM. Since it was getting close to their 6:00 PM closing time, we called ahead to ask when my prescriptions would be ready. I was transferred twice, wasn’t given a clear answer, and the attitude I received over the phone was already unpleasant.
