Pretty decent place to live. The side walls are virtually sound proof. The floors, where our unit doesn't have carpet, are pretty thin, you can hear quite a bit from neighbors underneath you. If we had carpet, I'm sure that would lessen the noise. It can be hard to get ahold of management, but they're quite busy with multiple properties for one person to manage. $929 for a one bedroom in Elizabethton is too high. I can get a 2br in Johnson City for $860. Mine was $700 and then jumped to $929. I asked why the drastic jump. They said they had to raise rents to market value. HAHA. It's an ok place to live, way overpriced for what you get though. Being next to TDOT means there's always traffic and construction. If you're light sleeper I'd avoid. Especially in the Winter time when they load the salt trucks at 3 and 4 am. Traffic from the elementary school is awful in the mornings and aft... read more

I pass here daily. This is a community of people living in apartments. It is a nice place and has playground area for the kids.

Edit: I truly wish the response from UDC was genuine however, the problems discussed in the review were brought to managements attention several times. Why would I waste my time repeating myself? Avoid UDC at all costs! I spent six years there, and it was a nightmare. This place operates like a greedy corporation with a complete monopoly on housing.
