I have lived here on this property for 3 years and I love it. Its convenient, clean and the office staff is really nice. Anyone that has ever had a problem might have just been an unhappy person in general. If you call the office the assistant manager is really sweet and knowledgable. Sure its not the Hilton, but for Fairbanks Alaska you can t really find anything that includes all utilities and cable. Oh and they are very pet friendly, all they ask is to pick up after your pets. do not rent at this place. they pay no attention to maintenance issues. evrything is old in these apartments. leaks, heat not working properly. they are more concerned about peoples personal lives than paying attention to maintenence issues. no sense of privacy in your apartment. too expensive for what you get
I have stayed here for two summers while working in this great state. My first apartment flooded on two separate occasions creating great expense for me. Thinking they had resolved all the issues, I stayed a second summer only to have them keep my entire deposit claiming I had broken a previously broken couch. I have documentation proving the couch was broke. They do not seem to care. Crooks at best, do not stay here.
Yeah, the debbiedo person was right to say this place is old, but she forgot to mention it was falling apart. The balconies have holes and rotted spots all along the wood. Im just waiting for someone to fall through it. No noise seclusion in the apartment -- front doors have an inch of space between the bottom of the door and the floor, and no seclusion on balconys. No A/C (but like most apartments in Alaska). Our furnished apartment wasnt too bad, but the couch has cigarette burns on it and on one of the throw pillows. Oven... read more
This place was really a surprise...from the outside it looks like a real retro place, I mean it was beautiful with all the flowers and everything but you can tell it is an old building. Wow is what I said when I walked into the room. You talk about awesome, this place had the finest of furniture and was very clean. The owners are right on site and their family members are the housekeepers and they just go way out of their way when it comes to service.
