A Very Unpleasant experience – I received a bid and signed a contract with Town and Country to repair my chimney. The contract was for $6400. Once they began work they tried to raise the price to $20,000. When I told them this was out of the question the rep went outside called his "boss" and came back saying he would do the repair for $17,000. We refused and stuck to the original contract. Frustrated and annoyed – We booked a huge job with Town and Country in August. We had a rebuilt chimney, new liner, and all sorts of work done to the tune of about $7k. We had coupons from their website which we still can't get them to honor. The house smells like, well, a chimney now that it's raining. They claim to not get my messages.
