A few months ago we stopped by to look at a car. Scheduled an appointment for a mechanic to look at the car, but when he got there, they said they had no record of an appointment and the car was currently being looked at, so I had to pay extra for the mechanic to wait. I left a really good review last year on a engine issue that town and country diagnosed that another dealer couldnt find it ultimately had to have a new engine . I decided i would start using them from now on . Well i carried truck back for a transmission issue was told mechanic cant find a issue it shifts smoothe as butter . Well i knew that couldnt be true i had just drove it 50 miles to them and the issue was occuring . Told me you still have about 4 k miles left on warranty just bring it back 1 day . Disappointing experience with the parts department. I was told I'd have to pay in full upfront for parts that are on backorder, with no estimated arrival date at all. Asking a customer to prepay for something with no timeline and no guarantee of when it'll show up isn't reasonable. I wasn't comfortable handing over money for an open-ended wait, and I'd caution others to ask about ETAs and refund policies before paying for any backordered parts here.
