RecommendedLove this place! The staff is wonderful and they take time to get to know all their guests. It's wonderful to have the option for a puppy to get excercise whike learning to socialize and play well with other dogs. We're very hapoy we discovered American Pet Resort. Highly recommend.

Top notch!! Our Vita loved her stay. Having rescued Vita approximately 4 months ago we were very Leary boarding her. She’s very skittish with us and we didn’t know how she would react. Unfortunately due to an emergency we had to take the chance because we had to go out of town and we couldn’t take her. The staff was amazing. They were warm, friendly, professional and reassuring. We were able to watch on the outdoor play cam while we were away and we could see what a wonderful time Vita was having. We will be definitely using... read more

Boarded my 3 dogs here for 3 days and all 3 have come down with a terrible case of kennel cough! Very disappointed to have my fur babies so sick!

While our air exchange system greatly reduces the chances of many common canine viruses, unfortunately, we cannot completely control the airborne ones. These guys are PHENOMENAL. I am speaking from the veterinary side of things. What everyone worries about when leaving their babies behind to go away. I work for two veterinary hospitals in port Charlotte, one of which is the emergency clinic. Let me tell you, these girls are on it. They know their dogs like the back of their hand and when something isn’t right with one of them, they call us right away. I highly recommend this place. I have been bringing my dogs here for years and they truly care about the dogs under their care. I never have to worry about the dogs and I know they are in good hands. Awesome staff and awesome place!
