Nous avons loué (via detour NZ) un camping car appolo deluxe 16 jours pour nos vacances en famille et l'expérience s'est révélée compliquée et décevante de ce point de vue. Je comprends les mauvais avis largement dominant sur Google et trustpilot pour cette entreprise. Disappointed, all started waiting 2 1/2 hours waiting for van. Many faults with van (sliding door kept on opening over bumpy roads,fridge kept freezing everything) . Great holiday but using another company next time.

Sehr gute Organisation vor Ort, und sehr nette Mitarbeiter! Die Wartezeit in Stoßzeiten kann man gut vor Ort verbringen, es gibt Sofas, freies WLAN und Getränke, und auch die Möglichkeit des Duschens inkl Handtüchern ist perfekt, wenn man nach sich nach einer langen Anreise erst mal frisch machen möchte. Auch der Shuttle zum Flughafen lief super. Unser Wohnmobil der Marke Maui war in gutem Zustand und enthielt alle zugebuchten Extras. Very disappointing experience with thl (parent company). Due to a cyclone in North Queensland, we contacted thl in advance and were told an early return to Brisbane would be acceptable. We relied on this and adjusted our plans. After returning the vehicle early, thl refused any fair adjustment for the unused rental days. Instead of the communicated credit note, we were given a restricted voucher (only ~50% value, Australia-only, personalized, 3-year limit), which is effectively unusable for us as European customers. Unfortunately, our experience was quite disappointing. We spent over two hours waiting to pick up a camper that had been booked more than three months in advance. The process felt very slow and disorganised, and there didn’t seem to be much communication about the delay. We understand that busy periods can happen, but after planning the booking so far in advance, we expected the pickup process to be smoother and better organised. Hopefully improvements can be made so future customers have a more efficient experience.
