Horrible experience I had at Toure. My neice referred me to this place, she said they did a good job. My parts were crooked, braids did not line up. I was told that she will braid the hair to lower back. The braiding stop mid back and when I questioned her she said the hair is lower back. I paid, I left and never to return. I don’t do this but I paid my money for services I didn’t receive. Expensive lesson I learned.
Absolutely love this place. I’ve been now twice and will be returning again. I went at 10am got my sew-in cut out, braids taken down, hair washed, conditioned and blow dried, and had butt length box braids put in small/ medium size done before 4pm. GREAT SERVICE, friendly and professional. Overall great experience every time I go. And I called around 9am to schedule the appointment that day.
I asked for medium braids, but they gave me small ones instead. The braids are uneven in length and finish at different points. I even had to braid some down myself. One braid isn’t fully gripped at the root, and my middle part is noticeably crooked. For all the time spent, I didn’t get what I asked for and the quality of the work isn’t what I expected.

She used to b really good but she got very terrible I like the senior Braider she’s the best they is not good like they used to b I got my hair done not even 4 days ago and my braids is already coming out she was mad because I asked her to fix my hair right and she was rude I’ll never go to her again they need to respect the ppl that’s keeping them in business all of these African braiding shop is starting to act like we’re beneath them when we are the ones keeping them in business
