Went here for an appointment at 1:30. When I got there, they said they were still waiting on my insurance to approve. I asked them why they didn't call me and tell me this before I drove over there. They had no answer for me. My appointment was at 1:30 but when I called a week before, the lady said that it was at 1. A few months ago my husband and I went in for an ultrasound because of a threat of miscarriage. When we got in our tech told us that she would not be able to read us the results and we would have to wait to know the outcome until a dr called the results in to our midwife who would then call us, which was absolute tourture, but I understand is just part of their protocol. RIP OFF ALERT! They will quote you a reasonable amount for services prior to having your imaging done, then you'll be sent a bill for an additional $1000+, promise to correct it, and then send your account to collections. Every time I call, I'm either told that someone will get back to me (no one ever calls back), promised that they will correct it soon, or hung up on. Receptionists seems more interested in gossiping, checking their phones, and playing with their nails than addressing customer concerns.
WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!! DO NOT do business with this company!! If your doctor refers you to them for imaging, services, ask for a different company. They were only concerned with how many patients they could move through the process.The front desk clerk was rude & stressed. They demanded that I pay them a “deposit” for my visit. I explained to the clerk that I had already met my yearly deductible & had spoken to my insurance company & they advised me not to pay anything until the claim was processed. I was going to have to cancel my appt originally due to lack of funds however when I called to cancel she offered me their discount program due to my income and a few other qualifying criteria. I ended up getting the whole thing done at no charge to me! I couldn't believe it! I'm so glad that touchstone imaging understands that I'm just an everyday person. They were courteous and kind. They showed exceptional knowledge and professionalism. Also had good experience at Touchstone in Hurst, TX. I had a CT myelogram done and they made it as painless as they could. Highly recommend!
I've had my annual mammograms here every year. When I called today to schedule, they informed me that there will be a $60.00 fee. I explained that my insurance covers mammograms at 100% since they are "preventative care". The woman said that they now have a better machine and their owner decided he's not going to cover the $60.00 difference (from the old version). The staff at the burleson facility are amazing and kind. I am extremely claustrophobic and was so scared of doing this MRI after walking out of another facility but they stayed with me,talked to me and held my hand the entire time..without them I couldn't have gotten through it.. Thank you so much.
