I have been a client at this optometry office for more than 10 years. I miss Dr. Korth. The staff is friendly and professional. Shout out to Elissa. She’s great, professional, helpful, knowledgeable. Tries her best to satisfy the customers. She deserves a raise! There’s new people there every time I come, no consistency. One recommendation I have is to hire more people. Dr Emily Thai and office manager Polette hid Total Vision’s insurance changes when I made my appointment and after my exam, charged me out-of-pocket, and then billed me again six months later for their own denied claims. I was a patient here for over a decade, even continuing to come after moving from Pasadena to Claremont. That loyalty was absolutely not returned. I’m visiting the area and had an issue with my glasses frame. Paula was great and fixed the problem very easily. I offered to pay but she turned me down. Paula and Bianca were great - I’d definitely recommend using them for glasses needs!
Best visit I’ve ever had at Total Vision Pasadena. From check-in to check-out, the entire experience was smooth, friendly, and super helpful. Dr. Alan Goldberg was fantastic, so thorough, kind, and genuinely helpful. He helped me find new contact lenses that feel way better and my vision is noticeably clearer. Easy scheduling, easy parking, great staff. Highly recommend!
The staff is kind and helpful but that doesn’t make up for the lack of professionalism. I went to see them in Nov and it took almost 4 months for me to get my glasses. No one calls with updates. I had to call after a month and a half to find out my lenses were delayed. I had to keep calling to find out when and if they came in. No notes are kept when you do call so I had to explain over and over again what I needed. I didn’t have insurance so I’m paying out of pocket for this subpar service.
