I cannot say enough great things about TLC! I have visited Dr. Jaime Schwartz at TLC 3x, 2 of which were for procedures. Both have been life-changing events for me! I’m excited about life again and look forward to my next procedure. I had an excellent experience at Total Lipedema Center and traveled from out of state to be treated by Dr. Jamie Schwartz. From the first visit, it was clear he is a true expert—he took the time to explain everything thoroughly and approached lipedema as the medical condition it is, not a cosmetic issue, which I deeply appreciated. "90% insurance accepted" is not true. Dr. Schwartz is very compassionate if you are fortunate enough to have money. His office did NOT work with me like they said they would. Staff is constantly leaving. He strung me along and now I turned 65 and I asked him to please accept my Medicare. Of course he would not. He was so sweet and compassionate with my $500.00 cash consultation fee. I was so hopeful. That was my experience. I feel devastated. No compassion if you don't have $40,000
Dr Schwartz and his nurse Courtney are excellent. I had circumferential lipedema surgery of both legs and an arm lift. I had minimal to no pain after the surgery. They took very good care of me. I am pleased with my results and I would highly recommend Dr Schwartz for these procedures.
If you’re worried about whether to get your lipedema removed or not, please do. It has totally changed my life. I had the front of my legs done and my tummy and bottom, and I have my life back. I can do things that I never could for such a long time. I have energy at the end of the day and people tell me my brain is less foggy and I’m walking better. Please do this. If you have lipedema, you’re not just fat, you have a disease; take time to cure it.
