Went through a fairly intense process of determining our contractor for finishing our basement which had basically been used as an adhoc storage unit. We interviewed several contractors, even using the Better Business Bureau to see ratings. We met with each potential contractor which was helpful and settled on THI. We were not disappointed. I do not recommend Total Home Improvement, LLC (Third Lake, IL) for a kitchen renovation. I hired them for my $138,000 kitchen renovation project and my experience was far from satisfactory. I initially agreed to choose THI for my project due to the good reviews online and recommendation from my designer who thought it would be easier to have THI be my contractor since I was already ordering cabinets and tiles from them.
