Once we determined the cortisone and gel injections were no longer effective in my knees and the only pain relief would be knee replacement. I was referred to Dr Vestermark through another doctor at OrthoIndy who had been treating my knees for years. Being late fall when I decided to do replacement and getting on the surgery schedule before the end of the year for insurance purposes was a challenge. Dr Vestermark is personable and extremely knowledgeable. I always feel confident and completely informed when I see him. He takes time to listen.
Dr. George Vestermark did both my left hip replacement (anterior), and right shoulder (reverse shoulder replacement). Both joints were done within a year of each other. He informed me the shoulder would take more work to rehabilitate. I have followed his post surgery instructions, and, so far, my results are very, very good. Dr. Vestermark has a wonderful bedside manner. His instructions on pre-surgery, surgery procedures, and post-surgery are clear.
