I have been seeing Dr. Kaufman for years and last year started taking my 80 year old mother to him as well. She was suffering badly from a fractured vertebra that had not been diagnosed correctly, and had gotten no help from the Pain Clinic at SMHC. With Dr. Kaufman's help she was finally able to get her pain under control, and he referred her to a great surgeon (Dr. Agren at Falmouth Orthopedic) who repaired the damage and got her back on her feet again. The staff and the star of Total Health & Spine are all about treating patients. Brian Kaufman is an incredibly gifted and compassionate physician and a lifelong learner. Which means that he listens to his patients; without preconceived notions about who they are and how they hurt. Kaufman's a courageous healer. Any pain patient fortunate enough to consult him will benefit from his care.
I have suffered from lower lumbar disc disease with zero help for years from other techniques. Dr. Kauffman was suggested and it's UNREAL how great I feel. He has given me hope that I will once again be able to do the things I used to pre-car accident. His work is unreal, you have to see/feel it to believe it.
