From the moment I called, I could tell this clinic was amazing. The person who answered the phone was kind, patient, and very helpful!! The medical team was outstanding— Doctor Rivera was compassionate, knowledgeable, and truly caring. She took the time to explain everything and made sure my boy was comfortable every step of the way. Highly recommend to anyone looking for veterinary care!
This is one of the hardest reviews I've ever written. We had two dogs who were vet adverse so we hired Total Care Mobile Veterinary Practice to come to our home. In the beginning it was good - Dr. Rivera was kind and reasonably priced for an in-home vet. There are some issues. Diagnostic tests we paid for and sent off with Dr. Rivera seem to have never been processed and we received no results. The practice doesn't have an x-ray machine. I recently had to make the painful decision to put my sweet soul cat to sleep due to end stage kidney and liver failure. I chose Total Care, and it was honestly the most horrifying experience I’ve ever had. I can only speak for their in home euthanasia service, but if you want a gentle, peaceful passing for your pet, stay away from them. It was very quick and easy to make an appointment with Dr. Rivera after waiting a long time to hear back from other mobile vet services in town. Should have started here! My cat gets anxious in the car. So anxious, that even bringing out his carrier and trying to coax him inside makes him throw up and defecate. Taking my cat to the vet's office is not a great option for me, so having such a great team who can treat my pets in their own home is a huge blessing! They’ve been absolutely amazing with our fur babies. We were recommended them by our vet who my family has used for 20+ years since we have such big dogs and a very anxious shy cat. And they’re absolutely wonderful! So loving and caring with my fur babies and always make my family feel like we have support with them and answer every question we can think of. I also love the fact I can shoot them a text if I think of anything and they respond pretty quick! Will always recommend them!
