Lee is great, sad to see him leaving St Pete! He has completed work for me and my father and he has always been fair. He has also allowed me to work side by side him and I have learned so much from him. He is a wealth of knowledge and if he doesn't know the answer I know he will find it. I am very disappointed people leaving a 1 star review from a customer he tried to help. The car was basically abandoned and he could've placed a lien on it and he did not. Lee has asked me to do a review for a while now and to be honest I never thought it would make a difference. I stopped in to get a small repair one an air line and he explained a very bad situation with a non-paying customer that had happened before I got there. When I got home I decided to sit down and leave a review only to see the customer he spoke about had left a 1 star and apparently had a buddy do the same. I have worked with Lee for years and have seen him go above and beyond for me and other customers. I literally came in today to get some wiring help and he dropped everything to fix my issue. He explained can bus networks in a way I hadn't thought of before. Being a one man shop he can do more than some 3 men shops but you have to be patient because there is only one of him.
I have only left one other review and this is one of those shops that I feel deserves a review. We have an older Mercedes and my wife hit a pothole and bent the wheels on the driver side of the car. The dealer could not order the wheels nor could we find a used one anywhere. Reluctantly, we decided to try and get them fixed. After calling around we found Total Auto.
