excellent fine dining My husband and I LOVE Toscano's.... they serve the best aspargus rollatini!!! We haven't had a dish there that isn't good. I do recommend making a reservation as they are usually very busy on Fridays & Sat. It is a bit pricey, but well worth it...and the ambiance is very nice. The staff is friendly too.
Bacon Bits? My husband and I had a gift certificate for Toscanos that we were excited to use. We had heard wonderful things about the place, and had high expectations. The location is in historic Bordentown, giving it a quaint feel, and the inside ambiance was decent. We both love calamari and ordered it for an appetizer. That was the first bad decision we made here.... the calamari said it was dusted with bacon, and it was priced slightly high. Turns out their idea of bacon was Bacon Bits! Great fine dining This restaurant, on Bordentown's "main drag" is one of the nicest restaurants in town. It's a bit pricey, but worth it if you want a nice dinner out. Try the calamari - it's amazing and melt-in-your-mouth good, or the butternut squash raviolis. The bar has a great wine list as well. A good place for a special occasion, but make sure you have a reservation. It can be very busy and loud on weekends, so not the most romantic spot.
