Green tea ice cream at its best – Green tea ice cream is a rare find in Boston, esp that of good quality and flavor. The one here is very comparable to Chocolate Coyote's green tea ice cream in Madison WI. Also, this flavor is available at Christina's everyday, unlike Herrell's which doesn't carry it all the time and has limited flavors. Lastly, their ice-cream cakes are perfect. I've ordered a couple from here for friends' birthdays and never have disappointments. Not $$ too.
Variety is the spice of life – Of all the ice cream stores in Boston, Christina's is my pick for the indecisive. Forget your usual pick of vanilla, chocolate, and butter brickle; Christina's has everything from Mexican chocolate, to banana cinnamon, to carrot cake (the latter two are my favorites). Even on the most sweltering day in Harvard Square, it's worth the trek out to Christina's to get the quality ice cream. Christina's also is great if you're looking for good froyo flavors. Try something more adventurous than just c... read more
Wonderfull flavors – This is my second favorite ice cream place in Boston. Their flavors are exceptional, and the creamy texture of their ice cream is distinctive. *wonderful* mocha cappucino! and the concord grape sorbet is one of the most flavorful sorbets I've ever tasted.
Best Homemade! – The best homemade tasting ice cream! They have every type of flavor & even some ones that they have made up!
the creamiest – Christina's ice cream was one of the best I have ever tasted. The ice cream is so creamy and flavorful. I enjoyed every flavor I tried, pumpkin, mexican chocolate, and espresso with oreos and chocolate pieces. The frozen yogurt wasn't as creamy. I will go back to Christina's again and again.
THE BEST -- HANDS DOWN! – This is the best ice cream I've ever had in my life!! Once you've tried it, you'll think ice cream from the supermarket is like economy gas when you are used to Super Premium. All homemade ice cream, yogurt, and even fat-free and sugar-free choices are available to cater to those who really shouldn't indulge. My favorites are Mango and Sweet Cream. Staff are very friendly, as well. What can I say? LOVE IT!!!
Doesn't get any better than this! – The ice cream here is the best. I haven't found a better place in Boston for ice cream. They've got all kinds of funky flavors. My favorite here is the red bean ice cream. So yummy! Check it out!
Great Ice Cream. – This place serves up awesome homemade ice cream. Perfect for a summer evening. The only problem is that all the flavors look so great and you are only allowed to sample one. The flavors range from carrot cake ice cream to classic vanilla. Located in Inman Sq., but this place is worth the trip.
