Update: Torrid rocked it again! I took my teen daughter in today (May 15th, 2025) to shop for her 1st in store shopping/trying on experience. Grace was amazing! She was welcoming, kind and super helpful. I am so greatful to her for making this a good experience for my daughter. My mother and I visited the Kitchener location in the Fairview Mall tonight (May 8th around 7:30pm) and we both are beyond upset with the way we were treated by one of the staff members. When my mother was trying on clothes, we asked the staff member if it were possible to move a clothes rack that was in front of the 3-view mirror to get a better look at the clothes she was trying on. Honestly I do like to shop at Torrid especially preferring in store to allow me to see, touch and feel the product before buying. It’s actually been disappointing my last 3 trips inside the store (one being today). I wasn’t greeted, or acknowledged my entire time inside the store. Nobody offered to empty my hands to put in a fitting room which prevented me from grabbing more.
