Charlie built the prototype under-the-stairwell shelter for our home two years ago. It was a very effective and unique solution to our shelter needs using an existing closet space. No one else had a design and build capability to provide a shelter in this unique space. You can't buy Life-insurance after the fact, and you can't benefit from a storm shelter after the fact. Roger and Robin installed our 4'x7' shelter in our garage and within 24 hours we were in it! Talk about timing, thankfully the storm passed us by.
We are buiding a new house and I had been looking at the above ground shelters....I was hesitant to go with an above ground shelter because all the ones I found seem so cheaply made....until I stumbled upon the shelters made by The Tornado Place at the OKC home show.... there was no comparison in quality!!!
