Six days status post surgery for 3 broken bones, right ankle. Doc Torhorst is one amazing surgeon. He is the BEST in his field. No blood or scabs on stitches when the 3 day soft splint came off and he was able to manipulate my ankle to set its position in the cast without pain. I have full trust in his judgment. Awesome doctor. Awesome Clinic and staff. Initially I went to a podiatrist at St. Michael's. Huge mistake. She basically did nothing for me and was in and out of the room in five minutes. A complete joke. If you have a need to see a podiatrist, I highly, highly recommend the Torhorst Clinic. I've seen a lot of doctor's over the years and spent too much time as an inpatient at UWHEALTH in Madison, not related to my foot.. Dr. Torhorst ranks right along with them. Awesome doctor, who cares.
Dr. Torhorst and his entire staff are simply amazing! My husband had seriously painful problems with both a bunion and hammer toe on the same foot. Our research of both doctors and procedures led us to Dr. Torhorst. He is an exceptional surgeon and completed a very successful Lapiplasty on my husband's bunion as well as correcting the hammertoe all in one surgery.
