I have no desire to order at a slow kiosk. I would much rather order to a person or go to the table and order on my phone. This is not an improvement. The actual employees, who likely have no say in this, are absolutely fine! Food was also exactly as expected.
Been an Austinite for 20 years and wow has this place gone downhill. Honestly the most disgusting taco I’ve ever had. This location doesn’t even make an attempt at melting the clearly pre-grated cheese. We returned our tacos because they were completely cold and waited 20 minutes, only to find out they weren’t redoing our order and forgotten. $50 on tacos for a terrible experience- avoid this place, perfect example of a franchise who has lost any ability to make the food they are known for.

I visited Torchys today and got the new “Taco Two Step” promotion. I got the Trailer park extra trashy and it was delightful. I do have give some Kudos to “Tim” for helping me navigate through the new deal and making sure we were properly taken care of. Even when busy with his working/closing tasks, we were still able to get chips and our order in a knick of time. This was my first time at this establishment and I will be coming back again.
Horrible customer service this is the worst location.
