Overall not a bad place to eat. I had heard about it from several people and had high hopes of it being AMAZING, AND it wasn't. The trailer trash taco was very good as well as the green chillie queso. But hubs had the bowl with mango and shrimp, and he said it was just ok I will go back and try the bowl with the fried chicken, but again, it was good, but not great.
This is a clean, well-run Torchys. Food is good and usually comes out quickly. Parking is a little wonky - you have to be headed Eastbound to get into the lot and the same will be true to exit. Often, traffic is heavy along the highway getting out. But the queso is worth it
I tried going here on Saturday night (10/18) and got to the location around 10:35 PM. The posted hours show they close at 11:00 PM, so I planned on ordering a couple tacos to take to-go. When I get to the door at 10:40 PM, I noticed the doors were locked and there is an employee at the counter and one cleaning. The one cleaning looks at me and signals they are closed, and to leave, to which I am confused by her signaling this, since they were NOT closed according to their hours. Got off a 12 hour shift ordered food thru the app to make things convenient and to go straight home after picking up my food. Was sitting at the drive thru after ordering three tacos for like 10 min nobody acknowledged I was even there after looking at me multiple times. Bartender chick came to the windows completely ignored me didnt ask me anything nor did she even open the window to ask if Ive been helped. I have no idea what they’re paying Korynn from behind the bar but it’s not enough, this last Sunday while the building was PACKED she was running back and forth from the Bar to the cash register and crushing it. Some of the best work ethic I’ve ever seen and great conversation too, she seemed to make time for each customer she had at the bar top while making sure everyone got their order. She’s the reason I’ll be coming back.
