I went last week, great service and amazing food. Definitely worth a try!
Ms Dorothy is the best thing this location ever did. I’ve lived here forever and come to this Torchys more times than I can count now frequently alone with my daughter. Ms Dorothy always jumps to help take my order get a high chair picks up throughout us eating and helped me pack my daughters food to go as I was struggling one handed. She always smiles and talks so sweetly. Whatever yall are paying her isn’t enough I vote her employee of the year !
This was honestly one of the worst experiences we’ve had at Torchy’s. They have ordering machines that are supposed to make ordering easier, but the item I wanted wasn’t even available on the machine. I ended up waiting about five minutes for an employee to come help me while a line of people was forming behind me, which made the whole process unnecessarily stressful. Torchy’s Tacos has some really unique taco options that y’all won’t find at your typical taco spot around Texas, which is one of the reasons I enjoy coming here. There are plenty of different flavors and combinations to try, and the food is consistently pretty good. It can get a bit expensive if you have a big appetite and need several tacos to fill up. I’m sure there are more authentic or unique places out there, but for a quick and convenient lunch or dinner, Torchy’s is a solid choice and definitely worth trying.
