Torchys is always great! Anytime I'm in town I will stop. I purposefully try something new every time and am never disappointed
My visit took place yesterday afternoon 8/23/2026. My boyfriend is a strict vegan and has been for over 20 years. He hesitantly came to Torchys with me after I compulsively checked the menu then used the kiosk to prove to him there was a single vegan taco on the menu. He got one vegan taco and I got a shrimp and bean+avo taco. When they arrived, the vegan taco was touching the shrimp. I’ve recently moved to the area and have always been a fan of beer and tacos at my old location. Service here is friendly, but always slow because bartender talks to obvious regulars but ignores others. It will still be my hangout, but I miss the better service I’m accustomed to.
I absolutely love this place! I highly recommend the democrat and you must try the hillbilly queso. The atmosphere is good. The customer service was great and it's very, very clean. Special shout-out to Vicky who is always so friendly and welcoming!
