My wife and I rented a kayak for me and a paddle board for her. The person behind the desk was completely untrained in how to use a paddle board. He didn't know how to set the height of the paddle, but fortunately we knew how to do this. He also did not inform us that the rudder needed to be flipped out from the bottom. Since we have only used paddle boards with stationery rudders before, we didn't know that we needed to do this. Great staff, well maintained kayaks and SUPs, reasonable prices.
Love kayaking here- it truly never gets old. The scenery is beautiful, the water is usually calm enough to enjoy at an easy pace, and there’s so much wildlife to see along the way (we spotted dolphins, manatees, and other creatures on our trip). It’s the kind of place you can come back to again and again and still have a great time. Highly recommend if you want a peaceful paddle with nature all around you! 🛶🐬🌿
I’m not sure how this business is still getting new reviews. I went today with my family and was told there is a new owner who has only been operating since the hurricanes last year. The website listed on Google is completely different, with different pricing and information that does NOT match what you’re told in person. On top of that, the pricing is much more expensive than what’s advertised online. This is the only rental company inside the park, so once you arrive, you’re basically locked in with no alternatives.
