Wasn’t great. The people who work there were nice but the food wasn’t the best.
Ordered takeout from this place while in Memphis on the recommendation of a friend. I ordered a 1/3 rib plate with two sides. I wasn't impressed. I thought Memphis was known for good BBQ and Blues. BBQ was "ok" at best. The ribs were short ribs. They did not cut the bones apart, so eating them was a challenge. The sauce was thin and vinegar. I had slaw and an apple turnover for my sides. Stopped by to grab some bbq before my flight, based on a few people recommending it to me. I got the pulled pork sandwich, baked beans, potato salad, and chopped brisket. Everything except the brisket was good. The brisket I could pass on. It was a good value for the portion sizes. I'd maybe return.
