Living at Topaz looks cool online, but the reality is a different story. The management is unorganized, unresponsive, and seems more focused on social media clout than actually taking care of the people who live here. Maintenance requests take forever (if they even respond), the walls are super thin, and the amenities are either broken or constantly "under maintenance." Just a heads up, this place sucks and they’re liars. I recently entered a giveaway from one of their posts to about getting free tickets to go to the Del Mar Fair and was selected as a winner. But when I messaged them , they claimed back the tickets because I wasn’t a topaz resident even though I had toured the place and they gave me their instagram to follow. Such a friendly and welcoming community! I love living here at Topaz.
I am so incredibly happy to be done with this apartment complex for my student. What an absolute nightmare! There are not a lot of clean, safe and trustworthy places to rent around the college so I could list all the issues we had and yet others will be forced to rent here regardless. Make sure your students have a good phone plan for WiFi use purposes because theirs never works, make sure your students roommates don’t skip out before checking out or you will be responsible for a construction clean up all on your own for the... read more
