I had an emergency and the nice person I talked to said someone could help me secure the door for $125. The person that came out gave me an estimate but before he secured the door he said it would be $400 to close the door. I was not told that up front so I declined. I paid $125 for an estimate. Be aware that if you call for emergency service the $125 is only for them to look. I feel like this was very tricky. I decided to not have them come back for fear of more hidden charges. (My previous garage door was installed when home was built in 1999) In April 2023, after tornado damage to my garage door had to be entirely replaced. Quality Door was recommended by my roofing contractor Ambassador Construction, it took several months to get new door. 1 year & 7 months later, the new door jumped its tracks, and the tension cable came off, and there were issues with spring tension. I called for service and was told at least a week or pay for "Emergency Repair" #100.00 Plus labor & parts.... cost over $400.00... read more
